While I love the idea, #slowliving & being in-tune with the inner world EVERY SECOND OF MY LIFE is simply not doable for me.
I like to fantasize about the mindful life I will live once I get rid of my smartphone and move to a cottage next to the lake, with goats and a herb garden. Maybe then, my head would feel lighter and there wouldn’t be 103975 thoughts running through my mind like headless chickens. It would be easier to ground if I was living in nature where I could just let the heaviness of everything I carry drop down into the earth.
But for now, I continue inhabiting a dwelling under the city lights. It is not always pretty, the traffic feels violent, the political correctness is sucking the sassines out of my soul and I feel like I am running out of time—all the time.
THAT BEING SAID—While there will always (or at least until further notice) be times when we rush and live in our head, and situations that require us to move fast & consider more than just our own wellbeing, what we can do is always remember what’s truly important.

I made all of the recordings in the Neretva river valley in and you will hear the waves of the Adriatic sea, the Neretva river, the wind, the crickets, the cicadas, and occasionally even the children’s laugh and the sound of a tractor. All of the sounds, together with my voice, co-create the unique soundscape that will hold the hope for you
My wish is that these sounds will bring you closer to remembering that you are also a part of nature and no matter how far the nature’s wisdom seems, it is always present in your body for you to unplug & recharge.

Hey hey hey—I’m Nastja, your trauma-informed BFF and (also) a lyrical yoga nidra teacher.
I’ve always been a sucker for learning new ways on how to improve myself, my relationships, and the world around me. (What I really don’t like in new age spirituality is how oblivious it is to the world’s actual issues. I am big on “personal is political”!)
After some time of ~working on myself~, I began to feel burnt out & fatigued from my own spiritual practice: the very thing that was supposed to make me feel better left me in a frantic state of mind, always wanting to do more–more meditation, more yoga, more training and believing being uncomfortable is the only way to grow (probably because I have spent my whole very short life completely alienated from a sense of ease and safety).

Letting go and being held, feeling peaceful in playfulness and knowing that I am enough.
